BLACK HANDMADE BOWLS FROM THE AMAZON

Deep in the Brazilian Amazon Forest, an indigenous tribe transforms fruits into wonderful bowls decorated with unique patterns. And they are now seen as pieces of art. 
 
These objects originally served multiple purposes: were used to take a bath, to cook, to drink, to eat. Made from the shell of a fruit called “cuiera”, it is hand painted using materials from the forest. 
 
Although having thousands of years, this design in black and white looks stylish and sleek now, and would complement an eclectic decor or be a statement in an elegant room.
